How to avoid “killing the messenger” so that you can hear what you don’t want to hear- but need to hear
Reflect- probe- support before you respond

Be present in the moment
When people have someone who will listen to them- it changes everything
Listening is not waiting for your turn to talk
Listen without thinking about anything other than concentrating on what the speaker is saying
